When using AI to translate a text or to check its grammar, for example, make sure that the content of the original text is not substantially altered. AI is only a tool and a research assistant.
3. Copyright. AI is not an original scientific source of information. The text it produces is neither error-free nor original. Always check the accuracy of the information and refer to the original sources.
4. Data protection. Do not enter sensitive, confidential or privacy-sensitive information (name, contact details, date of birth, social security number, student number, etc.) into your conversation with the AI. Please read the terms of use and privacy policy of the applications.
5. Transparency. Students are expected to be transparent in their use of AI. If shortcomings are identified, Karelia may launch a review process to assess the use of AI. The use of AI in the thesis should be described in the introductory chapter and, if necessary, in more detail in the implementation and reflection process. Explain the introductory chapter
