Quantum Computing Idea Workshop is a group with the task of sharing ideas on next generation computing. The goal of the group is to transcend binary computing. We have been moving bits far to long. How can we move to the next level. Share. Intellect property is open to all here. Please be aware, the group does not make any warranty that ideas are proprietary. They are shared openly (Open Source).

Quantum Computing studies theoretical computation systems (quantum computers) that make direct use of quantum-mechanical phenomena, such as superposition and entanglement, to perform operations on data.
In this group, we'll concentrate on computation math aspect of QC as opposed to Physics or Computers design. It is an open group hence feel free to participate but please do not use abusive and offensive language.
In a very simplistic way this group is created to give an opportunity to current software developers not go extinct in the advent of quantum computer revolution that may be about to happen.

This group is for discussing all things related to computational physics, chemistry, biology, material science, geology and engineering, i.e. the application of computer calculation, modelling and simulation techniques to each one of these branches of science.

This page was created as a result of a conversation I had with a very Good friend of mine from school. So many questions on how it works, what research is being done and who has it working experimentally? How does it differ from present day computing?
Please feel free to ask questions and contribute! What better way to explore this new frontier than with friends and colleagues who are also interested in learning more about this!!!
And of course, no arguments, use of profanity, stupidity, false information, harassment, trolling and other nonsense common on the Internet!!

Note: We realize that it is early days in quantum computing, and it is the opinion of this group that no commercial applications will be available until at least 2025, probably later. Certainly until the hardware develops to provide circuits of sufficient depth and quality that can deliver commercial applications. We can still expect to see a lot of exciting hardware, software, algorithmic and business developments along the way, however. In this respect, and until this time, the group will serve as a kind of time capsule for the modern history of quantum computing.
